Jason was raised in the family business of building homes and renovating properties. Straight out of high school he joined the carpenters union as a framer and spent his spare time in plumbing and finish carpentry. A desire to serve his country brought Jason to the U.S. Navy in 1992 where he added welding to his ever growing trade skills. In 1997, PHWS opened its doors.
As CEO, Jason has worked with more than 275 new home builders and developers, delivering over 26,000 new single family residences and condominiums. He is personally invested in each client. We franchise the right for you to establish and operate a third-party warranty service company. The PHWS system is designed to provide services to builders and allow them to outsource the warranty services portion of their business.
The estimated initial investment for a franchise is $97,750 to $146,825.
The continuing services or “royalty” fee is 7% of your gross sales, to be paid monthly. This fee entitles you to use the PHWS service mark, as well as providing access to our distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling, and additional benefits.
Yes. We will grant you a territory (called a “service area”) defined by zip codes, counties or other physical, political or natural boundaries.
PHWS’ name and reputation are important parts of our business. Franchisees must spend a minimum of $1,000 to $3,000 on grand-opening advertising during the first three months of operations. You must also spend at least 2% of your gross sales per month or $1,000 on local advertising.
The initial training covers all material aspects of operating a PHWS franchise, and is comprised of both classroom and on-the-job training.
The initial term is 10 years from the date the franchise agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable for two additional successive terms of 10 years each, providing you have complied with the provisions of the franchise agreement.
